How to Share your pc internet connection with any device ?
You can connect or share internet via two methods :
First, Go toSettings>Wireless and network>Wi-Fi Direct settings -> This is equivalent to peer to peer network. To me wi-fi peer-to-peer implementations by creating adhoc connections is same as Wi-Fi Direct. You can opt for this type of network only to build a small, all-wireless LAN quickly and spend the minimum amount of money on equipment. Like sending songs or anything else from one device to other android devices. But sharing internet connection of your PC ,using this is not suitable according to me because what I found, Ad-hoc networks cannot bridge to wired LANs or to the Internet easily without a gateway or bridge.
Second, Settings>Wireless and network>Wi-Fi Settings -> This one is for accessing a wifi hotspot through an access point.This one is more suitable for sharing Internet Connection of your PC to one or more devices without any other router.
Note : This method applicable with smartphone only.
Share your pc internet connection via USB Cable :
- First, connect your Usb cable with your Device.
- Go to Setting > Now you can “Wireless & Networks” option.
- Got to “More”
- Now see “USB INTERNET”, Tick mark there and then your smartphone will advice for windows section, select and then done.
- Now go to “TETHERING & PORTABLE HOTSPOT”
- Go there and Enable “WIFI HOTSPOT”
- Now you can Share internet.
Share your pc internet connection via Bluetooth :
- First, connect your Bluetooth device like Bluetooth Dongle, of your Device.
- Go to Setting > Now you can “Wireless & Networks” option.
- Got to “More”
- Now go to “TETHERING & PORTABLE HOTSPOT”
- Tap the “Bluetooth Tethering” check box to enable Bluetooth Internet sharing on your Android device.
- Go there and Enable “WIFI HOTSPOT”
- Pair the other Bluetooth device to your Android device.
- Now you can connect with PC internet.
