1. Bharat Interface for Money ( BHIM ) App

The app is a Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and was developed by the National Payments Corporation of India. It has been named after Bhim Rao Ambedkar and is intended to facilitate e-payments directly through banks and as part of the demonetization and drive towards cashless transactions. Some key features of the app are as follows:

• Supports all banks that use the UPI
• Built over the immediate payment infrastructure
• Allows instant money transfer between two bank accounts
• Money can be transferred using mobile numbers (UPI Address)
• The app can function without the Internet
• Currently a maximum of Rs. 10,000 per transaction is allowed
• The app will soon be linked with the AADHAR card for identification and security purposes.

2.MyGov App

This app is a citizen engagement platform founded by the GOI to promote active participation of Indian citizens in country’s governance and development. It aims at crowdsourcing governance ideas from citizens. The users shall be allowed to discuss and to contribute to various government projects and plans. Some features of the app are as follows:

• users can log in and share their suggestions, feedbacks and ideas with central ministries
• users can also join discussions, take polls and form groups around topics of interest.

3.M-Passport Seva App

The Ministry of External Affairs launched the mPassport Seva app to offer a wide variety of passport-related services to smartphone users. This app makes the entire process of getting a passport easier. Although people cannot currently apply for a new passport using the app, it provides detailed information regarding the steps involved and the documents required for issuing a new passport or renewing an existing one. Some features of the app are as follows:

4.DigiLocker App

DigiLocker is a key initiative under Digital India, the Government of India’s flagship program aimed at transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. It is a step towards paperless governance. SOme features of the app are as follows:

• DigiLocker is a platform for issuance and verification of documents & certificates in a digital way
• Eliminates the use of physical documents
• Users can access their documents and certificates from your DigiLocker on their mobile devices.

5.IRCTC Connect App

The Indian Railways had recently launched an android app to make the ticket booking process easier for the people. Some features of the app are as follows:

• Users can search and book train tickets
• Users can view and cancel tickets
• The app retains recently added passenger details
• New Users can register from the App directly
• It also alerts you for upcoming journeys.

6. M-EPF App

Using this app, users can activate their UAN accounts using their smartphones and can also access their accounts for viewing their monthly credits through the passbook as well view their details available with EPFO. Similarly, the EPF pensioners will be able to access their pension disbursement details through this app. Various employers can also view their remittance details using the app. Some features of the app are as follows:

• Users can activate their UAN accounts using SMSs
• Users can get their EPFO details by giving a missed call to 01122901406 from their registered Mobile number
• UAN registered members can get their KYC details by sending an SMS at 7738299899.

7.M-Kavach App

This app is a comprehensive mobile security solution. The Indian Cyber watchdog CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) developed a standalone app called MKavach in an effort to protect users from malware and hacking attacks. Some features of the app are as follows:

• It addresses threats related to malware that steal personal data and credentials
• It prevents the misuse of WiFi and Bluetooth resources
• It can change the SIM information and thus prevent the use of a lost or stolen device by an unauthorized person
• It allows easy backup and restoration of data both locally (smartphone) and remotely (server)
• It also blocks Spam SMSs, premium-rate SMSs, and unsolicited incoming calls.

8. GARV (Grameen Vidyutikaran) App

The app lets anyone track the progress of rural electrification in India through a real-time dashboard. Reports by the GVAs (Grameen Vidyut Abhiyantas or rural electrification engineers) are shared through the GARV app with officials as well as the public. This puts pressure on the State governments and thus ensures timely and quality delivery.

The app aims at increasing the transparency of the developmental process. Here, GVAs directly capture the electrification data on the app instead of the data first coming from state governments. Some features of the app are as follows:

• Users can see the total number of unelectrified villages on the dashboard
• The dashboard is multilingual and thus user-friendly
• They can also see which villages will be electrified next
• Progress status of a particular village can also be checked using the app
• Milestone tabs display the percentage of target achieved as against the number of days left for completion.

9.Online RTI App

This app is a part of the Government’s initiative to simplify complex procedures. Using this app, users can access the RTI portal using their smartphones. Using this Android app, users can submit their RTI query. The lawyers and experts will frame an application and send a draft back to the user for approval. It can be modified as required or submitted as it is. The response from the authorities for your application will reach you within a month. Some features of the app are as follows:

• Users can form forums and discuss queries amongst themselves
• All information about state and central government rules regarding RTI applications can be accessed through the app itself
• Users can also track the status of their application and connect with various RTI activists over the app.

10.Ministry of External Affairs (MEAIndia) App

The MEAIndia app is a single window source of all information related to the ministry’s citizen-centric services and outreach activities. It provides information on services such as- e-citizen, passport services, visa services and Indian mission abroad. The app also simplifies the traveling abroad process for students and other NRIs. It helps people identify the agencies authorized to attest documents. Some features of the app are:

• Extremely user-friendly with impressive graphics
• Nearest Indian missions or posts for emergency consular assistance can be found out easily
• Users can find out about how to take Haj Pilgrimage or Kailash Mansarovar Yatra  on the app
• Pictures and documentaries about or on India can be viewed as well as shared on the app

11.IndOASIS

IndOASIS is the mobile banking application of Indian Bank. This application can be used for accessing various financial and non-financial services offered by Indian Bank. Customers can access / carry out Fund transfers using IMPS / NEFT , schedule of fund transfers, opening e-Deposits, PPF accounts, Recharge / Bill Pay, Mutual Funds, Card services, and various other value added services. UPI facility integrated with IndOASIS can be used by customers / non-customers of Indian Bank.

12.eSamvaad

Mobile Seva’s eSamvaad is Connect Care’s secure messaging hub. It allows prescribers to send encrypted text messages to colleagues in real-time from a mobile device. This will provide a platform for the department which facilitates users with hassle free conversation with the colleague with trust and authenticity.. eSamvaad application for Government departments. This application is encrypting the information flow between the communicating parties/departments, and thus provides end-to-end security between the communicating parties.

13.Cyber Satark

The ever growing cyberspace with nearly 30 billion devices interconnected online at present, poses potential challenge to the administrators to meet device communications secure. It is worthwhile to note that more than 11.5 lakh incidents of cyberattacks were tracked and reported by India’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) in 2021 and India jumped 37 places to rank 10 in Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2020 as per the report released in June 2021.

The attackers mainly misuse the vulnerabilities present in the organizations at various levels such as lack of cyber awareness among the administrators and users, IT systems, applications and hardware. As there is an exponential growth in number of active Internet users and cyber-attacks, especially in India, there is an imperative need of raising cyber awareness in the society and in government organizations or departments, in particular. Accordingly, C-DAC Patna has designed and developed “Cyber Satark”, a Cyber Security awareness mobile application to impart cyber awareness across interested agencies and departments of the state government. The Cyber Satark Mobile App is one of such efforts from C-DAC, Patna which makes its user aware of basic cyber security practices to maintain cyber hygiene in digital operations and tries to help in identification and respond to security breaches events in real-time to mitigate the risk of any security compromise. The Cyber Satark App provides a one stop platform to create a Cyber Hygiene Practitioner and build a full ecosystem to nurture the cyber security culture. The application provides an easy understanding of the trending Cyber threats and their precautionary measures for everyone.

It also covers the cyber space, impact of cyber security, different form of cyber-attacks, their modus operandi, preventive measures (Do’s and Don’ts) and steps for cybercrime reporting. To make the App more interactive and easily understandable, case studies are projected using visual aids such as pictorial form, animations and storytelling method. C-DAC Patna releases the Cyber Satark App in multiple regional languages (Hindi, English, Bangla, Malayalam, Maithili [awaited] and Marathi) to have maximum outreach and make the diverse population of India aware of cyber security and cyber hygiene. This would certainly benefit the population to identify and defend themselves from potential cyber threats.

14.eUdyan Departmental App

The State Department of Horticulture functions with the objective of building a prosperous Himachal through scientific development of horticulture by harnessing the natural resources for the development of a sustainable system of agriculture in the hilly areas. The Department came into existence in September 1970. The pragmatic policies for the development of horticulture of the State Government combined with their adoption by the farmers has resulted in transformation of the horticulture industry of Himachal Pradesh. The State has earned the distinction of being the Apple State of India.

15.eUdyan Himachal

17.NADL AA

Account Aggregator App! Harness the power behind your financial asset. NADL AA is a user-friendly, safe, and secure account aggregator application from NESL Asset Data Limited (NADL), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of National e-Governance Services Limited (NeSL). NADL is the only Union Government company to obtain the operating license of RBI** to offer account aggregation services. 18.Health Data Collection

This app has been developed under the project “Development of a machine learning based system for predicting treatment, advise and diagnosis”. We intend to collect anonymity data and analyze it for use in recommendation system and data collection protocols, and eventually use it to improve Health Management Information System.

29.mEcoHP

Economic Survey is one of the budget documents which indicates the important economic activities and achievements of the Government during the ending financial year. Economic Survey is an annual document released by the state a day prior to the annual financial budget. The app provides access to Economic Survey in Hindi and English for the year 2016-17 and 2017-18. The salient features of the State of the economy of Himachal Pradesh are presented in Part-I, and statistical tables on various subjects are given in PartII.

30. HPPSC Himachal Pradesh Public Service commission

The HPPSC mobile app allows the user to view Department wise Vacancies, Advertisements, Press Notes, Results, Answer Keys, Schedules etc. from any android device. It also provides link to the online application submission page of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for any vacancies declared by HPPSC. This app allows you to either view the details for all departments or can also select particular Department of choice in which the user is interested. Based on this selection of department, the user will get the Notifications, Results, Answer keys, Admission/Rejection etc. The navigation is through home page of the app as well as the navigation drawer (Menu). On clicking any of the listed options, the user will get date wise (latest first) list of Advertisement/Press Notes/Corrigendum etc depending on the selection. Each listing also have related corrigendum/addendum within it. On clicking any of the listed item, the user will get related detail about date of notification and last date (if applicable) and will also get ink to download the full text from the Commission’s web site.

31.Press Releases HP Government

The App lists the Live Press Releases of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The Information and Public Relations Department of the Government publishes these Press Releases in form of text and images. These Press Releases are Bilingual in Hindi and English. Images related to be Press Release can be zoomed out to full screen. The Information and Public Relations Department disseminate these press releases, policies and programmes of the Government in the right perspective and to gauge and assess the reactions of the quarter concerned and keep informed the Government about their impact amongst the masses. Besides it also educate the people about various programmes launched for the welfare of the people by the State Government from time to time. Features: 1. Press Releases are in Hindi and English Languages.

32.eGazette Rajpatra of Himachal

The App lists the latest notifications published in the official Gazette of Himachal Pradesh. The App locally stores index for about 3 latest Gazettes and it’s all notifications. The individual notifications will open through web browser in .PDF format, when you click on these. All Gazettes and Notifications published after 01- August-2007 are available online at http://rajpatrahimachal.nic.in. A number of notifications are issued by different Government Departments concerning different subjects, which are relevant to Government, Industry, Citizens etc. These Departments send the notifications to the Department of Printing & Stationery, Himachal Pradesh for publishing in the Official Gazette. Once the notification is printed in the Official Gazette (Rajpatra), the Notification becomes Gazetted Notification. Therefore, the official Gazette (Rajpatra) has legal and regulatory significance and implications, because the notifications come in effect, as on the date of publication in the Official Gazette of Himachal Pradesh. The Printing & Stationery Department is responsible for compiling and publishing of the Rajpatra. Various Government Departments, district administrations, regulatory bodies and apex offices of the State, notify the various matters, as per their working domain, generally known as notifications, such as acts, rules, notifications, statutory orders etc., which are required to be published in the official gazette or Rajpatra of the State. Such Gazettes are published by all States and Central Governments.

33.HPVC

The HP VC App displays the VC schedule for today, next 7 days and between two selected dates. The App shows today’s booked VCs on main screen. Scheduled button can be pressed to view scheduled VCs. The App is useful for Government employees trying to confirm or book a new VC for NIC Studios in Himachal Pradesh. As all hearing of Central Information Commission are through VC only, the citizens can also use this App to confirm their scheduled hearings

34.eTransfers Employees Orders

The App lists transfer orders of officers and employees of various Departments in Government of Himachal Pradesh. The App lists Transfer Orders of all the Departments on Board with Order Date and Details. The transfer order titles are stored on the mobile device. To get full orders as PDF file, user can click on the desired order. The PDF files are made available through internet and will require internet connectivity. The listing once viewed is stored offline on the device.

36.Namma Nilagiri

The mobile app is to provide information about various government departments and tourist place available in Nilgiris district. This mobile app will be a simple handy solution to every citizen living in this district or visiting this district. The citizens as well as Government officials can make use of this mobile app.

37.KOOTTAM

Department officers can know the scheduled meeting with collector. Date, time and Venue are given for department in current month

38.Green Rameswaram
